OVERVIEW
My family and I stayed at Hotel Castello di Sinio for four nights while exploring Italy’s Piedmont region, famous for its wines, nuts, truffles, and other goods. A friend recommended we stay at the Castello, and to our surprise, the hotel was one of the best parts of our 11-day trip.
Nestled at the peak of the small town of Sinio, the Castello is a perfect blend of old and new. This restored medieval castle has large suites tastefully decorated with traditional and modern features. The grounds are intimate and quaint and are a wonderful place to unwind after a long, exhausting day of wine tasting. Guests can relax on the outdoor terrace, take a dip in the pool during the warm Italian summers, or enjoy a digestivo under the stars.
While the amenities are the cherry on top, the best part of staying at the Castello is its incredible staff. You’ll be greeted as a family member rather than a hotel guest from the moment you arrive. The owner, Denise, and her staff go out of their way to get to know you, provide personal recommendations, and do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. We’ll never forget the kindness the staff showed us here.
